A homebody “drawer" from the small town of Howell, Michigan, they studied at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, earning their BFA in Illustration.
When not hiding under their desk from loud thunderstorms, Tamar is often found doodling faces of beautiful strangers and writing stories of the relatable.
They love drawing scenes inspired by life to bring people together, creating stories that deal with loss and perseverance.
Tamar specializes in cartooning, sequential narratives, and playing video games.
Yet, most importantly, they have four cats.
A Haunting in Vicksburg
Capstone project completed during my time at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, a Haunting in Vicksburg is a storyboard sequence featuring a group of civil war soldiers who find that their forces have been infiltrated by vampires.
